Val’s very supportive as a coach. She’s a great listener and helped me to focus on the goals I had in front of me. With her by my side, I found I was able to accomplish what I wanted by taking that steps every week as opposed to just thinking about what I wanted to do and not taking any action, at all.
She’s super down-to-earth. With her honesty and encouragement, she helped me stay motivated by highlighting the skills I had within me to tackle any goal or challenge that came my way. And she helped me find the courage to do things I never thought possible.

Val is an amazing health coach, who is incredibly easy to talk to. She has helped me better understand my emotional, mental and physical health and well-being. I’ve had other health coaches in the past who weren’t doctors but they didn’t really make me feel better. Val’s process really works for me. Other health coaches just look at your diet but Val actually listens to you and everything you say and she looks at your body language. She looks at you holistically and I think her medical training comes in handy.
Val has helped me through several bouts of career uncertainties and insecurities as well as family stress, which have manifested in lack of sleep, low energy/fatigue, and GI issues. She was really instrumental in helping me realize that I need to listen to my body and re-assess the stresses in life and how to manage them. Because she’s a doctor and understands what foods interact with different medications, she’s helped me manage both nutrition/diet changes and lifestyles changes and she’s helped me with mental health strategies that have positively impacted my overall well-being. She’s really helped me feel better and happier!
